We know that environmental responsibility is important to the quality of life of our customers, the communities we serve and our own employees and their families. It is also critical to our success.  Therefore, we will constantly review our environmental programs and look for ways to improve our performance in this area. Our goal is to continue as industry leaders in these two key areas:

1. Offer products, information and support to help you achieve your environmental goals

Pinnacle Distribution will focus on sourcing and finding the environmentally preferable product alternatives our customers need to support their green efforts. Whether in the area of food service packaging or green cleaning chemicals that have less of an impact on the environment, we will continue to search out and partner with responsible manufacturers to ensure that we have true green products available to you.

2. Personally make corporate choices to reduce the negative environmental impact we have on our world

Corporately, we will strive to reduce our impact on the environment by:

✓ Reducing consumption of fossil fuels and atmospheric emissions

We will carefully manage our truck fleet to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. We will do this by constantly refining our delivery system to ensure that we make deliveries in the most expedient, fuel efficient way possible. Fuel consumption reduction will also be a consideration when evaluating the vendors with whom we will do business. For example, vendors who have reduced their case sizes so their products can be shipped more economically will be among our preferred suppliers.

✓ Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling

We will Reduce by regularly evaluating ways to reduce consumption of paper, toner, ink, and other consumable supplies internally. We will Reuse and Recycle with our internal fine paper and cardboard recycling programs. We believe that, the more we can reduce, reuse, and recycle, the less non-renewable resources we take from the environment, the less energy we use to create new products from virgin resources, the less we contribute to the filling of landfills, and thus we will reduce the impact we have on the environment.
